From Guest Rooms to Homes

Long before Andaluza Home existed, fragrance was simply part of welcoming guests to Finca Gran Cerros.
What began as a personal hobby gradually became part of the experience we wanted to create. Each guest room was carefully prepared with one of our reed diffusers, while freshly made beds and soft furnishings were lightly refreshed with our own Room & Linen Mist spray before every arrival.
Beside each bed sat a small bottle of Lavender Pillow Mist, inviting guests to spray their pillows themselves before settling down for the night.
It wasn't intended as a product.
It was simply one of those little touches we hoped would help people feel at home.
Guests began asking the same question
Over time, we noticed something interesting.
Guests weren't just commenting on how the rooms looked.
They were asking about how they smelled.
"What fragrance is this?"
"Can we buy the Pillow Mist?"
"Do you sell the diffuser that's in our room?"
Those conversations became more frequent with every season.
At the time, we still weren't planning to create a fragrance business.
But it became increasingly clear that people wanted to take a little piece of their stay home with them.
Fragrance creates memories
The fragrances weren't chosen simply because they smelled beautiful.
They became part of the memories people made while they were here.
The scent that greeted them as they opened the bedroom door.
The fragrance drifting quietly from the diffuser during the afternoon.
The simple ritual of spraying Pillow Mist onto freshly laundered bedding before climbing into bed.
Long after a holiday ends, fragrance has an extraordinary ability to bring those moments back.
Everyday rituals matter
That experience shaped the way we think about fragrance today.
The most meaningful products are rarely saved for special occasions.
They're the ones that quietly become part of everyday life.
Lighting a candle as evening arrives.
Washing your hands after working in the garden.
Applying hand cream before leaving the house.
Spraying Pillow Mist onto freshly made bedding at the end of the day.
These aren't grand gestures.
They're small daily rituals that make ordinary moments feel just a little more special.
More than home fragrance
As Andaluza Home grew, we realised that many people wanted more than beautifully fragranced rooms.
They wanted to enjoy those same fragrances throughout their day.
That's why our Bath & Body collection has always been such an important part of the experience.
Our Liquid Hand Soaps, Body Washes, Lotions and Pillow Mists aren't separate from our home fragrances.
They're an extension of them.
The fragrances linger gently on your skin long after you've washed your hands or applied hand cream, becoming part of your daily routine rather than simply something that sits on a shelf.
It's also why so many customers return time and again for our Bath & Body refills. Once a favourite fragrance becomes part of an everyday ritual, it's surprisingly difficult to imagine being without it.
It all began with guests
Looking back, it's remarkable that one of our most-loved collections wasn't created around a business plan.
It grew naturally from listening to our guests.
Their questions encouraged us to share something that we already loved making.
Everything we've created since has followed the same philosophy.
Fragrance should never feel complicated or extravagant.
It should simply help a home feel welcoming, a moment feel calmer, and an everyday ritual become something quietly memorable.
